- 4-Her's,
Here is what's been going on lately.
The Jr. & Sr. dance teams are under way with their practices for Club Days. Thanks, to Shawna Paulsen, the teams are looking sharp again. Come check it out at the fairgrounds in the white building sometime.
The club voted to spend this year's overnighter (Jan. 15th) at the Lawrence Aquatic Center and the Diamond Gymnastics Center. We'll be spending the night at Diamond where we'll have some pizza and soda after swim time. If you haven't rsvp'd to Nancy Vaughn yet, please do so.(301-3043) We need a head count for pizza and the overnight accommodations and car space. Also, Nancy hasn't heard from any wonderful parent volunteers yet for who will help with driving and who will stay the night with her and 30 wild 4-Hers. Please let her know asap.
Wes did a fabulous woodworking project talk. He encourages all 4-Hers who are interested to sign up on their enrollment card so they can participate at county fair. It's lots of fun.
At the Jan. meeting please bring donations for Butch Tanney and his fellow soldiers (listed below). Any money donations would be great too since it costs to ship this stuff. Thanks. And remember that by bringing donations, it is a community service and you'll receive points for year-end awards. Besides, it makes you feel good inside when you do it!
