  • Dear 4-Her's, Here’s the October Newsletter:
  • Positions - The new pos. are finally in! Here they are. President: Clarissa Sheilds, Vice President: Lauren Vaughn, Secretary: Lauren Curtice, Treasurer: Jessica Ptak,County Council Reps: Heidi Katt and Alexis Knutsen, Parliamentarian: Shelby Volker, Corresponding Secretary: Julia Sheilds, Historains: Grace Freeman and Tristen Richardson, Reporter: Garrett Vaughn (me!), Recreation Directors: Danielle Smith and Justin Drake, Sergeant At Arms: Kassidy Volker, Community Leaders: Sandy Curtice and Nancy Richardson.
  • New Member - Our newest member is Kristen W. CONGRATS!!!!!
  • Birthdays - The Oct. birthdays are CeeCee (40!! HARHARHAR!) and Al Morrison(a little over 40!!!HEEHEEHEE!!) and Danielle. Happy Birthday!
  • Treasurer - Passed out the T-Report; Budget approved by the club.
  • Historians - Lauren V. and Monica finished the book!!! YYYYAAAAAYYYY!!!!! See it at the next meeting.
  • Fall Hayride - This Saturday, Oct. 21st at 5p.m. at the Richardson’s. Call Jake C. to bring food. (Bring a pre-carved pumpkin for the contest for the best pumpkin.) There will be s'mores, pot-luck, flashlight tag and more!! Bring own chairs, flashlights and a wheel barrow if you have one. Directions: Hwy. 169 south to 183rd St.; go west to 22025. (In need of help in case you get lost? call 592-2010)
  • Rodrock Yearling Drawing - Oct. 28 at the AQHA show
  • Parents meeting - 1 adult from each family please attend on Oct. 25 at 7pm at Godfather's in Olathe. (Santa Fe and Clairborne) Bring your calendars.
  • Officers meeting - Oct. 16 at 7pm Gardener Pizza Hut
  • Officer training - Oct 14 at 5pm, beginning with a potluck dinner and classes to follow.
  • Enrollment - Get your cards turned in ASAP to the extension office.
  • Horse soccer - sign up with Emily if interested
  • Jump judging - Oct 28. See Michelle
  • 4-H Achievement Night- Nov. 11th. Call Pat at the extension office for reservations.
  • Year End Awards Banquet for Horse Club- Nov. 18th at 7pm at the White Building
  • Club Days - Feb. 10th at Spring Hill High School
  • Horse Panorama - Feb. 10-11 at Rock Springs
  • Equifest - Feb. 24th in Wichita
